Description: Issues like cloning and generic engineering are no longer science fiction concepts. They are real. With technology outpacing regulation, many wonder how far we can go – and at what cost? Who deserves resources? And how do we maintain the dignity and sanctity of life? Those are the questions that students will wrestle with in this course. They will delve into where westand in medicine, law, technology, so they can understand where we’re going – and the opportunities, trade-offs, and dangers ahead.
