Two Law Schools Accept GRE

More law schools have ruled in favor of the GRE.
The University of California, Irvine School of Law and the University of Alabama School of Law are the latest law schools to accept the GRE in lieu of the LSAT.
“We are committed to expanding the pathway to law school for talented students from a variety of diverse backgrounds with a wide array of career goals,” Song Richardson, Dean and Chancellor’s Professor of Law at UCI School of Law, says in a press release. “Adding the GRE to our admissions process furthers our innovative approach to legal education.”
REACHING A WIDER APPLICANT POOL
A number of law schools across the nation have decided to accept the GRE, partly because it opens up admissions to a more diverse applicant pool.
“We want the broadest possible range of applicants to apply to Yale Law School,” said Miriam Ingber, the associate dean for admissions at Yale Law, says in a press release. “Accepting the GRE will provide our applicants with increased flexibility as they consider their educational options.”
A whopping 44 law schools in total now accept the GRE. Check out the full list below:
